Color Picker is a simple Windows tool you can use to identify the right colors for your website, an image, or anything else on your screen. Since it doesn’t require installation, it’s quick and easy to get started.
So how does it work? While holding down the left mouse button, move the cursor around your screen to get the name of the color you want. You can also use the built-in color selector, or the invert function if you want the opposite color. It’s that simple.
We previously reviewed Colors Finder, which offers similar functionality. However, with that one you have to choose an image from your computer, so we believe Color Picker’s on-screen feature will be faster and easier in many cases.
