XOWA (32-bit) 1.6.4.1

Access Wikipedia offline with XOWA, available as a free download. If you use the 64-bit version of Windows, click here.

Did you know you can access Wikipedia offline, without an internet connection? XOWA is a free application that makes this possible, and you can download the tool here for Windows 32- and 64-bit. XOWA is also available for Mac and Linux on the developer’s official SourceForge page.

You can’t just download a single random Wikipedia page. Instead, you need to download entire archives—for example, the German Wikipedia—and these downloads can take up many gigabytes. It also takes a bit of setup, but it worked perfectly when we downloaded the entire simple.wikipedia.org and used the pages without internet access. Smart!

If you’re serious about using Wikipedia offline, you might also be interested in a similar program called Kiwix. You can download it here on Holyfile as well.
