iPhone Dev Team has developed the jailbreaking program PwnageTool for Apple's iPhone. And the newest version of PwnageTool supports latest iPhone firmware 2.1, and works with iTunes 8 without a patch. iPhone Dev Team says that PwnageTool is not yet tested on second generation of iPod Touch, but the team doesn't see why it shouldn't. Apple's App Store has enjoyed a surge of popularity with more than 100 million downloads of applications for iPhone - this has sparked a great interest in jailbreaking iPhone and iPod Touch.
