Mozilla has, after several years of development, a new version of their popular email client Thunderbird ready in a Release Candidate version - the nickname is Thunderbird 3 Release Candidate 1. Mozilla Thunderbird is an e-mail client like Microsoft Outlook, but is completely free to use. The features of Thunderbird are certainly on a par with those of Microsoft Outlook, but cannot integrate the Office package programs as well as Outlook can with e-mails. The release of Thunderbird 3 Release Candidate 1 is Mozilla's idea of allowing users worldwide to test this new version and it's features. Mozilla says: "While this milestone is considered to be stable, it is intended for developers and members of our testing community to use for evaluation and feedback. Users of this latest release version of Thunderbird should not expect all of their add-ons to work properly with this milestone." Some of the functions and features you in Thunderbird 3 is:
