Watch movies from PC on PS3 download
Many already know about this free solution, which makes it possible to watch movies that are on a PC directly on the television wirelessly via a PS3. But even more people have never tried it because it sounds more advanced than it is. And yet. Indeed, it's extremely complicated, but with the free program, PS3 Media Server, the whole process becomes extremely simple. PS3 Media Server is a free program to be installed on your computer. The program is available for both Windows, Mac and Linux. We will now guide you through the process that allows you to play movies, as well as music and pictures, wirelessly from your PC, directly on your TV, via your Playstation 3. Start Downloading PS3 Media Server (Opens a new tab )

Installation and setup

Once you have downloaded the software, please ensure that: 1. Your Playstation 3 is connected to the same network as your computer. If your PS3 is on the wireless network, then it should be the case. If you do not have a wireless network, then you must connect your PS3 to the network, or the computer, directly through a power cable. 2. Your PS3 must be on and you must be logged in. When these two things are controlled, you will need to install PS3 Media Server. There are not the big problems in this and it should run smoothly. Now you would like to see the following in the program, after that within approx. 10 seconds have found your Playstation 3:

Then you can place the desired movie / music / pictures in the PSM folder together with any. subtitles. Now go to your PS3 and find PS3 Media Server. From here you can now play your media from your computer directly on your PS3.

Troubleshooting

Should you be so unlucky to see the following image at startup, and are you sure that the two points mentioned previously are met, try the following.
PS3 Media Server can not connect to PS3
1. Make sure the correct network adapter is selected in "General configuration". In your "Control Panel -> Network" you can see what your network name is and select it from the application's list of network cards. After selecting, press "Save", close the program and restart it. 2. PSM uses a network port called 5001 by default. Normally, it is not in use, but is it already in use, then PSM will not work. Try changing it for example. 6001, if item 1 did not solve the problem. Note, if you see WMP instead of Playstation 3, it's because PSM connects to Windows Media Player. Of course, this is not meant to cause PSM to try to play your media on your computer via WMP. If you still need help, please try again here.
