What can you expect from this new operating system (OS)?

Your current PC gets a design upgrade, with rounded edges and transparent menus that look stylish. This also extends to the start menu, which can be personalized by installing widgets to suit your needs. In addition, there are a lot of small animations that are included in the menus, which makes the user experience very intuitive.

Windows 11 is also optimized to run Microsoft Teams as smoothly as possible, so you do not experience as large fluctuations in quality while talking (of course still depending on external regulations, such as Internet connection, etc.).

There is also a snap system, which allows you to attach your windows to specific areas of the screen without having to adjust their sizes afterwards.

In the new version of windows, it is also more obvious to use the built-in browser, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft's own Internet browser, which after the year 2015 replaced Internet Explorer. Along with the new menus and widgets, it makes sense to use Edge, which has also become faster to use.

System requirements that your PC must meet in order to run Windows 11

Microsoft has released a list of minimum system requirements, which looks like this:

• Processor ? 1GHz (or more) with 2+ cores on a 64-bit processor.
• Memory ? 4 GB RAM.
• Storage space ? 64+ GB.
• System firmware ? UEFI.
• TPM ? Trusted Platform Module v. 2.0.
• Graphics Card ? Compatible with Direct X 12 or later.
• Screen ? HD screen (720p) over 9 ”.
• Internet connection ? Microsoft account and Internet connection required.
• You can only upgrade to Windows 11 from a device running Windows 10, version 2004 or later.

How do I go back to an earlier version of Windows?

In most cases, it is always possible to return to an earlier version of Windows if for some reason one should be disappointed or frustrated with the new one.

When Windows 10 launched, it was possible to switch back to an earlier version, within ten days, as they also describe on this page, under the heading "Go back to your previous version of Windows".

There has been no official announcement yet, but it is possible that Windows 11 will end up following the same pattern - so be on the lookout for official statements about the possibility of switching back to your previous operating system if you are still in doubt. whether or not you should install this new version.

An operating system with a focus on gamers and gaming experiences

With the new and updated microsoft store, it will be even easier to find new, exciting games that can be downloaded via your microsoft account.

Many people choose the Windows computer as their primary gaming station because this operating system is generally easier to develop material for, which is also why Mac versions of many games are often not available.

Games that will look especially good in the new operating system

At any rate, they broke Steam's record for most played games in 2021 after the game's first day on the market.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a visual storytelling that looks like it was made on a Disney movie budget. The characters are beautifully animated and the story grabs you right from the moment you step into the world. You work as a young spirit guide who must try to calm the spirits so that they can pass on to the next world. But the spirits are sour and inflamed; something has occupied them and it is now up to you to make sure nothing happens to them, yourself and your country.

How do I download / install the new Windows 11 on my PC?

Later in the article, you could read something about the specific system requirements that your computer must at least include in order for you to run Windows 11 on it. If you have the slightest doubt about whether your PC's hardware will be able to support the new operating system, then you can read on Microsoft's page about how to download, install and use their diagnostic tool, which even goes in and looks at your PC's components.

You just go to Microsoft's own website here and click on "Download PC Health Check App", then you just download the program and then you get a clear, small menu that shows you something about what you need to be aware of. This is also where you get the opportunity to scan your system to see if you need to replace parts of your hardware.

After using this tool, you will then be allowed to get a free upgrade to Windows 11 as long as you are on a Windows 10 compatible hardware computer.
