What’s the best way to manage income, bank accounts, and similar information? While your parents might have used a special calendar or notepad, it’s much easier to use your computer today. We took a look at the Mac version of an application called GnuCash, but there’s also a version for Windows.
Personally, I’m not the biggest money expert in the world, but GnuCash appears to offer a strong set of features. Unfortunately, the bland user interface is poorly designed, and the program didn’t always run stably during our test on a MacBook Pro. There is also a Danish translation, but it’s incomplete across much of the program.
GnuCash seems like a good program, but we were very disappointed with the interface. You can try the app to see if you agree with us, but otherwise we do not recommend it to our users.
