PicPick for Windows is a simple all-in-one image editing tool with lots of features. For commercial use, you need to purchase a license from the developer, but it’s completely free for personal use. We tested PicPick on a PC running 64-bit Windows 7.
Because PicPick is free, the installer offered some optional toolbars, but you can decline them and install only PicPick. The image editor interface is very simple—reminiscent of newer versions of Paint in Windows Vista and 7. What makes PicPick more than a Paint clone are its extra tools, including a color picker, color palette, magnifier, ruler, and a very capable screenshot utility.
There’s no doubt PicPick isn’t advanced enough for Photoshop enthusiasts, but we’re confident many users will enjoy it thanks to its wide range of tools and a familiar interface.
