Populous is a 3D game that takes you around the globe in a sim world, where you start fresh and shape your very own land. Much like SimCity, you can build houses and monuments. Over time, the population grows, and your followers—whom you control—will do whatever it takes to serve you.
You can even expand your small island into something larger, cultivate fields, or construct more buildings.
On the left, you’ll find a map of the landscape along with a list of the assets you own and can manage.
It’s a straightforward game that’s easy to jump into. The more you create, the more there is to manage, of course. The game features solid graphics, and you can rotate the world in every direction to view it from any angle you like.
With refreshed visuals, you once again get the chance to help your god-sims rule a region where you’ll build societies and help them flourish.
