Scroll Reverser is a free Mac utility from Pilotmoon Software, which also makes PopClip and Dropshelf. While this is the latest version of Scroll Reverser for OS X Lion and newer, you can also visit the developer’s website to find an older release if you’re still using Snow Leopard.
Like most Mac apps, you install Scroll Reverser by dragging the icon into your Applications folder. When you open it, you’ll see a small icon in your menu bar. From there, you can choose to reverse scrolling for your mouse, tablet, and trackpad. That’s pretty much all the app does.
Scroll Reverser works smoothly, but who really needs specific settings for their mouse, trackpad, and tablet? Maybe not me, but if it sounds useful to you, it’s probably worth a try.
