The Incredible Machine is a classic Rube Goldberg–style puzzle game where you assemble various parts to build a complex contraption.
The game consists of a series of challenges, each with a simple goal such as “put a baseball in the basket” or “turn on the fan.” To achieve this, you’re given parts like balls, belts, ropes, balloons, seesaws, cats, and monkeys, and your job is to arrange and connect them on the playfield so that, when you click the Start Puzzle button, the chain reaction begins—provided you’ve built the machine correctly!
Levels become progressively harder as the game introduces more than 50 different components, ranging from scissors and pipes to marbles—just to name a few.
You can play The Incredible Machine in two modes: Classic, where you advance level by level, and Free, where you choose what to build.
In Free mode, you get unlimited parts to construct a machine of your own design. Creations made this way can be saved to disk.
