Get offline access to Wikipedia with XOWA, available as a free download. If you’re using a 32-bit version of Windows, klik her.
Did you know you can access Wikipedia offline, without an internet connection? XOWA is a free app that makes this possible, and you can download it from this page for Windows 32- and 64-bit. XOWA is also available for Mac and Linux on the developer’s official Sourceforge-side.
You can’t just download a single random Wikipedia page. Instead, you need to download full archives, for example the German Wikipedia, and these downloads can take up many gigabytes. It also takes a bit of setup, but it worked perfectly when we downloaded the entire simple.wikipedia.org and used the pages without an internet connection. Pretty neat!
If you’re serious about using Wikipedia offline, you might also be interested in a similar program called Kiwix. You can download it here as well.
