Clipjump is a free, portable clipboard manager that enhances Windows’ clipboard. We downloaded and installed it to see if it’s worth your time.
We’ve previously reviewed a range of clipboard managers, including the Mac app ClipMenu, and this time we’re taking a look at Clipjump for Windows. In essence, it does the same thing: it saves everything you copy so you can access it later.
You can read more about 1 on the official website, but most features are easy to grasp. Press Win + C to open your clipboard history and see everything you’ve copied, and as with most similar tools, you can also limit the size of that history. Another handy feature is the ability to create “channels,” which makes organizing your clips easier. The interface is acceptable, though we’ve seen better, as it’s mostly gray and white.
Clipjump is a solid app that does what it should—improve Windows’ built-in clipboard. Because Clipjump is just a folder of files, it’s easy to install, and you can also take it with you on a USB drive.
