Whether you want to compare Word documents or Perl code, ExamDiff Pro can load two files of the same type you choose and show you exactly where they differ.
The program offers extensive options and customization, displays the two files side by side, highlights differences, and lets you make edits on the fly. Exam Pro 7.0 features a convenient interface with multiple navigation options. There are buttons to jump to the previous or next difference in the document. There’s a drop-down list of the differences at each line. You can also click any line in the document to see the differences at that location in both files.
What’s more, if you open a subfolder or a file in a folder, the program will automatically compare it with the matching item in the other file. You can scroll the files you’re comparing in sync, or scroll them independently, and there are many ways to compare elements.
Differences are shown with colors at the line or character level. The colors are customizable, and changes can be saved to either one or both open files.
