Solar Wars

Solar Wars – Tactical space warfare and diplomacy in the solar system's shadow.

Solar Wars is a turn-based strategy game in classic sci-fi style where you build a mighty space fleet and take control of the entire solar system—one planet at a time. The game blends base building, diplomacy, and tactical battles into deep strategic gameplay that appeals to both hardcore strategy fans and new space commanders.

You begin on your own homeworld, where you develop technology, build your fleet, and plan tactical strikes. When you're ready, it's time to locate enemy planets and obliterate them with your arsenal of devastating weapons.

But it's not just about war: Your mission also includes defending Earth against an alien invasion from the edge of the solar system. To succeed, you must negotiate with Earth's various governments—and secure their support, whether through diplomacy... or threats. Once you've earned their backing, establish bases on other planets and turn them into front lines in the wider interplanetary conflict.

The game lets you design your own starships with specialized modules, allowing you to tailor your fleet to different threats. You can play against the AI or challenge real opponents via online multiplayer.

Are you ready to dominate the solar system and defend humanity—or take it over?

Solar Wars is a solid and tactically deep strategy game with exciting options for both diplomacy and space warfare. However, the game would benefit from a slightly more polished interface and better tutorials for new players.

Pros:

✅ Turn-based strategy with both war and diplomacy
✅ Build and design your own spaceships
✅ Play against both AI and online opponents
✅ Plenty of room for tactical variety
✅ Interesting story about invasion and global cooperation

Cons:

⚠️ Interface feels a bit dated
⚠️ Lacks an introduction/walkthrough for new players
⚠️ Diplomacy feature is somewhat limited in depth
