This program takes it a step further. It’s a professional tool that’s completely free to use. The software lets you zoom in on anything on your screen. Zoom Tool has a Desktop Mode where the viewport shows whatever is under your mouse cursor. While in Desktop Mode, the viewport can be locked in place or frozen.
Image Mode also lets you zoom into open graphic files as well as any pasted images. Images can be copied directly into the program, so you can analyze virtually any picture published on the web (by right-clicking and selecting "Copy image").
Supported clipboard formats include HTML, RGB, CSV RGB, Photoshop, C++, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, Delphi, single-pixel or 32x32-pixel color bitmaps. The program opens BMP, JPG, PNG, or GIF files.
