Record screen videos and audio on your PC with AnyMP4 Screen Recorder for Windows and Mac! Download the free trial with Danish language support!

With AnyMP4 Screen Recorder for Windows and Mac, you can capture screen videos and audio on your PC, your webcam, and your smartphone. This is super useful if, for example, you want to share a screen recording with a colleague at work or share gameplay clips with friends.

The full version of AnyMP4 Screen Recorder is paid, but there’s also a free edition you can try. On this page, you can read about the differences between the demo and the full version. You can also check our assessment of the demo, and at the bottom of the page we link to a few free alternatives that don’t cost anything.

Language, availability, and price

If you prefer using software in Danish, that’s an option with AnyMP4 Screen Recorder. During installation, you choose your preferred language, and you can change it later in the app’s settings. In addition to Danish and English, there are many other languages to choose from.

AnyMP4 Screen Recorder is available for Windows and Mac, so if you use either of these platforms, you can try the program. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Linux version at the moment. If you want, you can browse many other programs here on Download.dk. We have a category specifically for Screen Capture software, which you can find right here.

It’s free to download the demo of AnyMP4 Screen Recorder. Depending on how you purchase the full edition, the price varies. A monthly license has a standard price of $35, and a perpetual license costs $59. At the time of writing, there was a 25% discount. We don’t know how often there are offers, but you can always check the price on the program’s website.

The difference between the demo and the full version

When you use the free version of AnyMP4 Screen Recorder, you’ll notice some limitations. The demo is essentially a taste of the full version that the developer wants you to buy. In the image below, you can see the differences between the trial edition and the paid version.

One of the biggest differences between the two editions is that you can only save 3 minutes of screen recording with the demo. You also can’t trim the length of videos and audio directly in the program unless you purchase a license for the full version. In addition, the developer notes that Microphone Noise Cancellation and Microphone Enhancement aren’t available in the demo.

Our verdict on the demo

We haven’t tried the paid version of AnyMP4 Screen Recorder, but we briefly tested the demo on a PC running Windows 11 Home so we can tell our users whether we recommend downloading this software. At first glance, it seems like a decent tool.

There are many different features to explore. For screen recordings, you can choose to capture your entire screen or only a selected area. As shown in the GIF below, there are plenty of settings you can tweak. For example, you can set the output format for your videos, and you can also customize hotkeys to start and stop recordings from the keyboard.

The program also includes a feature for recording screen and audio on iOS and Android phones. If you want to try it, just click the phone button in the program, choose your platform, and AnyMP4 Screen Recorder will tell you what to do to get started. We haven’t tested this feature ourselves, so we can’t report on how well it works.

It’s clear that the demo is only a teaser. It can’t record more than 3 minutes of video at a time, and every time you open the program, you’re asked whether you want to purchase the full version of AnyMP4 Screen Recorder.

If you don’t have specific needs and just want to record short clips of your screen, we don’t think you need to pay over $50 for software like AnyMP4 Screen Recorder. There are plenty of free tools out there you can use to record videos and take screenshots. You can read more in the next section.

Free alternatives to AnyMP4 Screen Recorder

If you don’t want to pay for the full version of AnyMP4 Screen Recorder, you can easily find free alternatives here on Download.dk. We’re constantly adding more programs to the site, so we hope you’ll come back and visit us again in the future.

A free alternative we highly recommend is ScreenToGif. It’s a program we often use ourselves, and we’ve given it 5 out of 5 stars here on Download.dk. It also supports Danish, and it includes a super handy built-in video editor. With it, you can add text, arrows, and watermarks to your screen recordings.

Unfortunately, there’s no option to take screenshots with ScreenToGif, but if you’re looking for that feature, consider Sniptool. It also has a built-in image editor you can use to edit and adjust your screenshots.
