Laura Bow has graduated from university and is hired by a newspaper in New York. Her first assignment is to investigate a theft at a museum. The stolen artifact is a priceless piece of Egyptian art, and there are plenty of suspects. At the museum’s grand opening, a guest is murdered, and Laura must once again get to work and find out who’s behind it.
