Here at Holyfile.com, we love open-source software because it’s free, so this time we’re taking a closer look at GanttProject. I’m not an expert in this field, but it’s used to create Gantt charts, which you can read more about on Wikipedia her.
We tested the Mac version on a MacBook Pro running OS X Mavericks. The interface is very simple and easy to use, although it does look a bit dated in places. Creating a new Gantt chart is straightforward in the software, but many other aspects can be confusing, so we strongly recommend new users visit denne side for more documentation.
Based on our short hands-on time with GanttProject, it appears to be a solid tool, but new users should expect to spend some time getting familiar with its features.
