If you're fascinated by the Solar System and its many planets, moons, and stars, you might be interested in Solar Model, an open-source Windows program you can download here.
Based on our testing, the interface can be confusing, so we recommend starting by clicking the Help button in the menu. There you'll learn, for example, that you can switch between different modes with the Spacebar and navigate through space with W, A, S, and D. You can study most planets, and it's also possible to click them to learn more, such as distance to the Sun, temperature, mass, and more.
Overall, Solar Model is a solid program if you want to learn more about the Solar System. It's best suited for kids, and the interface can be a bit confusing at times.
