The evil goddess Takhisis – known as the Dark Queen – threatens to manifest physically on Krynn. If she succeeds, humanity and all free peoples face total annihilation. The 1 is the third and final entry in SSI’s classic Gold Box trilogy, based on the Dungeons & Dragons’ Dragonlance universe, and it’s up to you to prevent divine darkness from consuming the world.

If you’ve played 1 and Death Knights of Krynn, you already know your foes – but this time the threat is greater than ever. You lead a party of six seasoned heroes, which you can create at the start of the game. Choose from:

• ✨ Clerics who heal and protect

The game takes you through different regions of Krynn, from dark mountains to mythic cities, as you try to stop Takhisis’s cult and find a way to seal her away forever.

The Dark Queen of Krynn blends turn-based combat, character progression, and old-school, text-driven storytelling into the culmination the series has been building toward. It demands strategy, tactical insight, and knowledge of both the D&D system and your enemies’ strengths and weaknesses.
