If you’ve ever played the classic game Elasto Mania, which was very popular years ago, you’ll be glad to know you can download X-Moto, an open-source clone. We tested version 0.5.10 on a Mac with OS X Mavericks. The game is available for multiple operating systems on the developer’s website.
X-Moto, which combines elements of both racing and platform games, is almost identical to Elasto Mania. The goal is to guide your bike through the different levels while collecting berries and flowers. The bike physics are difficult to master, but that’s also what makes it entertaining.
All in all, X-Moto is a solid clone of a fantastic game, but we also recommend that our users check out the original Elasto Mania.
