Awave Studio helps you convert between audio formats, play audio, and it can also function as a generic instrument/synthesizer editor. The developer calls it the Swiss Army knife for anyone working with digital audio or synthesizers. The software supports up to 32-bit floating-point precision for mono and stereo data.

Several studio-quality resampling algorithms are available in Awave Studio. There is a built-in instrument processing wizard that helps you avoid repetitive manual editing tasks for instruments.

Awave Studio is a fully featured DLS Level 2+ and SoundFont 2 instrument editor. You can also use it to edit many other synths. Some even use the program as their only PC editor.
Data is organized in a simple split-window layout with two panes. There is a hierarchical instrument tree on the left side and a waveform view on the right.

A solid, modern tool that gives you options many similar programs don’t.
